Terms of Service

Last updated: April 30, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Wagly mobile app ("Wagly", "the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Wagly, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Wagly is operated by Vinayak Bibekar (sole proprietor, based in India).

1. Who can use Wagly

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are a resident of the EU/UK, you must be at least 16. By signing up you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

3. Your content

When you upload dog photos, vaccination cards, vet reports, prescriptions, notes or other content ("your content"), you keep ownership. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content for the sole purpose of providing the app to you. We do not use your content for advertising, training AI models, or sharing with third parties.

You confirm that you have the right to upload everything you upload.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Wagly to:

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Health and medical disclaimer

Wagly is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Vaccine schedules, food safety information, breed health notes, training tips, emergency-care articles and any other content surfaced in the app are general information, not medical advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian about your dog's health, diet and behaviour.

If your dog is in an emergency, call your vet or visit the nearest 24-hour animal hospital. Do not rely on Wagly's SOS information as your only response.

We are not liable for any harm to your dog or property caused by acting on information shown in the app.

6. GPS and walk tracking

Walks are recorded only when you press "Start walk." GPS battery use is your responsibility. We are not liable for inaccuracies in the recorded route, distance, or pace — these depend on your device's GPS chip and signal conditions.

7. Reminders and notifications

We send the reminders you create, on a best-effort basis. Push delivery depends on your device, network, and the Expo / Google notification infrastructure. Do not rely on Wagly reminders as your only safeguard against missed vaccines or medications. Set a backup (calendar, vet office reminder, etc.) for anything critical.

8. Service availability

We don't promise Wagly will always be available, bug-free, or up-to-date. We may pause, change, or shut down features at any time. We try to notify users in advance of major changes, but cannot guarantee notice in emergencies (security incidents, infrastructure outages).

9. Pricing

Wagly is currently free. If we add paid features in future, we'll give existing users at least 30 days' notice and a clear opt-in. Existing data will not be locked behind paid tiers retroactively.

10. Termination

You can stop using Wagly at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or applicable law. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

Some jurisdictions don't allow limits on certain liabilities; in those places, our liability is limited to the smallest amount allowed by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

If you live in the EU/UK, the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply where they cannot be excluded by contract.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email. Continued use of Wagly after a change means you accept the new terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
