This page explains how to permanently delete your Wagly account and the data associated with it. Wagly is operated by Vinayak Bibekar (sole proprietor, India).
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)
Open Wagly on your phone.
Tap the Profile tab (bottom right).
Tap Settings.
Scroll down and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and all associated data are removed immediately.
Option 2 — Email request (if you've uninstalled the app)
If you no longer have the app installed, send an email to vinayakbibekar2@gmail.com with:
Subject: Delete my Wagly account
The email address you used to sign up.
We'll verify the request and delete your account within 7 business days. We'll email you back to confirm.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following are permanently removed:
Your profile (email, name, photo, Supabase user record).
All dog profiles you created.
All walks (GPS routes, timestamps, photos).
All care & health records (vaccinations, vet visits, medications, weight, feeding, reminders).
All memory book photos and milestones.
All photos uploaded to Wagly storage.
All push notification tokens.
All usage analytics tied to your account.
What may be retained
Anonymised crash logs and aggregate analytics — these contain no personal identifiers and are kept for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
Backup copies on Supabase infrastructure — automated database backups are purged on Supabase's standard 7-day rotation.
Records we are legally required to keep — for example, if there is an active legal claim or law-enforcement request. This is rare and only applies if we are notified of one.
After the rotation/retention windows above, no copy of your data remains on Wagly's systems.
